Duke Eye Center, a leader in clinical eye care, ophthalmic education and research has THREE (3) IMMEDIATE NEW positions available for exceptionally qualified ophthalmic technicians. Consistently ranked among the top-10 eye centers in the nation, Duke Eye Center is committed to providing exemplary care to our over 135,000 patients each year. Selected qualified candidates will provide ophthalmic technical support to Duke Eye Center physicians and perform diagnostic testing services necessary for the evaluation of a wide range of patient eye diseases, injuries, and dystrophies in a fast-paced environment.
• Work requires completion of Ophthalmic Technician training and certification as a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA), Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT), or Certified Ophthalmic Medical Technologist (COMT) by the Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology (JCAHPO).
