Sterilizable Vitrectomy Lenses
Volk Optical introduces autoclave sterilizable (ACS) versions of its wide-field MiniQuad and Central Retinal vitrectomy lenses. These new lenses offer Volk’s double-aspheric optics with decreased sterilization processing time, and the option of Volk’s patented self-stabilizing vitrectomy (SSV) design.
The new lenses can go from surgery to autoclave to surgery, with no intervening steps. Volk says the result is lower cost per use than disposables.
